Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment

Vernon Environmental, Inc. (VEI) is experienced in all facets of the human health and ecological risk assessment process; including, individual release sites, screening and baseline risk assessments, and risk evaluations of remedial alternatives. VEI’s risk assessors establish risk-based cleanup concentrations in various media in support of our client’s remedial action cleanup objectives. We present and negotiate our risk-based cleanup criteria and concentrations to the overseeing regulatory agency on behalf of our clients.

In addition, VEI develops and implements long-term strategic plans for conducting risk assessments. This work includes identification and standardization of appropriate methods and reviews to ensure that quality information is provided to the decision process in a cost-effective manner).
